The Conference Secretariat has not arranged centralized accommodation and assumes no responsibility for hotel reservations, payments, amendments, cancellations, service quality, or any other agreement made between participants and accommodation providers.
To assist participants in selecting suitable accommodation, several well-known hotels in Isfahan are introduced below. These hotels are listed solely for information and convenience. Their inclusion does not imply official endorsement, partnership, or any contractual relationship with the SGC2026 Secretariat. Before making a reservation, participants are advised to confirm current room rates, availability, facilities, cancellation policies, and location directly with the selected hotel.
1. Abbasi Hotel, Isfahan
Abbasi Hotel is one of Iran’s best-known historic hotels. It is situated on Chaharbagh Abbasi Avenue, in the heart of Isfahan’s historic district. Its nearly 300-year-old building presents a remarkable example of Safavid-era architecture, offering guests a distinctive combination of cultural heritage and traditional Iranian hospitality.
Rooms and suites: The hotel offers different categories of rooms and suites, including standard rooms and traditionally designed accommodation units. Several rooms incorporate elements inspired by classical Iranian art and architecture while providing standard modern amenities.

3. Aseman Hotel, Isfahan
Aseman Hotel is located near the Zayandeh Rud River in a central area of Isfahan. It is particularly known for its revolving restaurant, which offers panoramic views of the historic city.

Visa
International participants attending the 16th International Smart Grids Conference (SGC2026) who require a visa to enter the Islamic Republic of Iran may submit their applications online through the official electronic visa portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Submitting the online application form is the first step in the visa application process. Visa categories, required documents, and processing procedures may vary depending on the applicant’s nationality, purpose of travel, and applicable regulations. Applicants’ passports must also remain valid for at least six months beyond the intended travel date.
Participants are strongly advised to apply well in advance and consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Iranian embassy or consulate responsible for their country of residence for the latest visa requirements and entry regulations.
